Early contractor involvement, site visit
Completing a site visit and discussing the feasibility of a concept is a type of Early Contractor Involvement. If a job is complex or the access is difficult, it is worth getting this feedback at concept stage.
A 'rough order of cost' estimate for a concept design
An estimated ‘rough order’ of cost gives a general idea of the construction cost and is appropriate early in the design process eg. at concept stage. We provide one rough order of cost estimate as a free service.
Estimates for multiple concept designs
Providing estimates for a number of concept designs is a consultancy service akin to quantity surveying. We charge a small fee for this. Normally around $150 for each estimate beyond the first, but this depends on complexity of the designs.
